What is a zombie

A “Zombie” is a computer that is unknowingly being used to transmit SPAM.
Viruses and SPAM go hand in hand. To avoid detection, spammers send their emails from a distributed network of unknown computers. Spammers & Virus Authors get together and you end up with a worm in your email that is sending SPAM to everyone in your address book.
