Big Blue Water is a woman owned technology company serving clients throughout West Michigan; from Manistee to Indiana and east to Kalamazoo. Our role is that of a ‘trusted advisor’ in all areas of technology with an emphasis on building and maintaining the customer relationship while providing the absolute best technical support. We support residential, small business, and corporate environments both onsite and through remote access.
The idea candidate for a position with us will have strong thinking skills with the ability to identify and resolve what are sometimes complex problems. They will be able to explain to the customer what the issue was, how it was resolved, and how to prevent recurrence in the future, in terms that are easily understood by the customer. This person will be self-motivated, able to work independently, completing time-sensitive tasks and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. They will document the customer’s system and all activity related to it. They will handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
We are easy to work with but demand professionalism. We offer the potential for considerable growth and freedom; your contribution will be the deciding factor. All applicants must be willing to initially work in our Douglas office. Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation required.
We offer part-time, full-time, and contract positions. Even if we don’t have an open position, we are always on the lookout for high caliber people to join us.
